Delivery Policy
This Delivery Policy explains how and where we deliver fresh cut flowers, and
clarifies responsibility and risk once an order has been dispatched and delivered.
1. Delivery Areas
We deliver within the United Kingdom only. Orders placed for delivery outside the UK will be cancelled and refunded.
2. Delivery Dates & Times
We will always aim to deliver your order on your chosen delivery date, but delivery dates and times cannot be guaranteed. We use reputable third-party couriers, but delays can and do occur.
A delivery that arrives earlier or later than expected does not entitle you to a cancellation, refund or compensation, particularly given the perishable nature of fresh flowers.
We strongly recommend ordering flowers 2–3 days before you plan to use them to allow for conditioning and to minimise event-related risks.
3. Courier Delays & Events Outside Our Control
Courier delays or failures may arise due to, for example, traffic, weather, customs checks, staff shortages, system issues or other operational disruptions. These circumstances are outside our reasonable control.
Such delays do not constitute a breach of contract and do not entitle you to cancel, claim compensation or receive a refund for the products.
4. Delivery Attempts & Safe Places
If you are not available when the courier attempts delivery, they may:
- Leave the parcel in a safe place
- Leave the parcel with a neighbour
- Take the parcel to a local depot and leave a card for you
Risk passes to you at the time the first delivery attempt is made or when the parcel is left in a safe place or with a neighbour, in accordance with the courier’s procedures.
We are not responsible for deterioration or damage caused by delayed collection after a delivery attempt, or by unsuitable storage conditions once delivered.
5. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
You are responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address. If an address is incomplete, incorrect or otherwise non-deliverable:
- No refund or compensation will be provided
- We may charge a redirection or re-delivery fee where this is possible
- We are not liable for deterioration caused by delay or misdelivery
6. Deliveries to Venues, Hotels & Business Addresses
When delivering to hotels, event venues, business premises, military bases, hospitals or similar locations, orders may be left at a reception area, loading bay or other central point as directed by the premises.
At the point of handover to that reception or central point, risk and responsibility for the goods passes to you.
We cannot be responsible for:
- Internal distribution within the venue or building
- The actions of venue staff or third parties
- Any failure of the venue to pass the flowers on to the intended recipient
7. Missed Deliveries
If the courier is unable to complete delivery or gain access and leaves a card:
- It is your responsibility to arrange prompt collection or re-delivery
- We are not liable for deterioration while the parcel is held at a depot
- We are not responsible for missed events or deadlines resulting from delayed collection
8. Damaged Parcels on Arrival
If the exterior packaging appears damaged when it arrives, we recommend that you:
- Take photos of the parcel before opening
- Record a short video while opening the parcel
- Inspect the contents immediately
Any issues should be reported within 24 hours of delivery, together with full photographic (and, where possible, video) evidence.
9. Weather-Related Risks
Extreme temperatures (hot or cold), humidity or other adverse weather conditions can affect flowers during transit. These risks are outside our control and do not entitle you to compensation or a refund.
10. Responsibility After Delivery
Once delivered (or left in a safe place or with a neighbour according to courier procedures), the flowers become your responsibility. You must bring them indoors as soon as possible and store and condition them correctly.
We are not responsible for damage caused after delivery, including but not limited to:
- Exposure to heat, cold, pets or pests
- Accidental damage or mishandling
- Failure to condition or hydrate stems promptly
